Toyon’s Mackinaw micro embedded video tracking solution provides complete, industry-leading tracking performance in a compact size.

Mackinaw is an all-in-one video tracking solution with a small size, light weight, low power, and rugged design. Mackinaw is an ideal solution for integration into networked mobile platforms of low size, weight, and power such as gimbaled video systems as small as 3 inches. Although small, Mackinaw is mighty, offering best-in-class target tracking performance, including on unstable platforms.

Integration:
Mackinaw supports two image sensor interfaces via MIPI CSI-2. Toyon has a related solution to adapt the FLIR (Teledyne) Boson LWIR thermal camera core for use with Mackinaw. The primary external interface is Gigabit Ethernet for configuration, video streaming, and tracking data.

Video processing features on the two image streams include:

  • Click-to-track correlation tracking
  • AI-based automatic target recognition
  • MISB-compliant metadata and track information
  • H.264 video encoding and WebRTC transport

Mackinaw can be customized to fit your image sensor and platform requirements for seamless integration into your product.
